My family and I ranch in the counties around Midland, so my evenings and weekends are busy with the ranch.  We raise longhorn/corriente cattle for roping and sell beef that is processed and packaged for individual families.

I began working with MISD in 2007.  I have been teaching for the last 19 years.  7 of those years were in the Junior High and Elementary classrooms.   12 of those years have been in the library.  I love being in the library.  I get to see all of the students and get to know them individually as I help them make book choices.  I want the library to be an enjoyable place for all students where they can explore and become excited about reading.
