Committee reports

-Calendar of Events- Maridell Fryar & Kathy Suiter as follows:

September 9 - 5:30 pm—Homecoming parade & Rebelpalooza

September 10 - 1:00-3:00—Courtyard of Memories Open House in the library & campus tours

3:25pm—Pep rally in the gym

7:00pm—Game at Grande Stadium

September 11

10:00am-12:00pm—Faculty/staff (former/current) reception in the Library.

7:00pm—Lee Legacy Wall of Honor Induction Dinner at First Presbyterian Church*

-Commemorative Calendar—Woodrow Bailey-will include pictures from the banquet & be available for purchase

at the Christmas concert events.

-Food—Michele Newton & Vicky McWilliams reported that PTSA will provide refreshments for both receptions

on Friday and Saturday. The banquet is catered by the chef at First Presbyterian Church.

-Publicity—There will be an article and a Lifestyle feature articlein the Reporter-Telegram.

-Web Site/Calendar—Alan Pitkin is posting event informationon the web site.

-Wall of Honor—Nancy Ham, Diane Ochs & Jami Owen report that the letter will be mounted on the wall by the 8th. These will be lit by new lighting fixtures.

-Fundraising/Financial Reports—Nancy Ham, Patricia Abila report donations totaling $7637.00.

Banquet

-Meal-servers are chosen by football & baseball coaches & cheerleader & Dixie Doll sponsors. Instructions

are to be handed out to them. They will wear uniforms/khaki slacks, nice shoes and a jersey. They will be

trained at 2:00pm on Saturday at First Presbyterian Church.

-Event coordinator—Nancy Ham & volunteers will be setting up

at 2:00pm-4:00pm. Will put final touches for venue

at 6:00pm.

-Decorations/tables- done between 2:00pm. & 4:00pm on Saturday by various organizations as designated.

-Entrance table—Michelle Newton will decorate it.

-Seating chart—Ms Howard & Ms Ham will designate reserved seats.

-Sound—Vicky McWilliams will ask the church representative for requirements and instructions.

-Photograph—Sam Hollis will be set up in a designated area for those inductees who desire him to take their portraits.

-MC notes—Maridel Fryer has biographical information for Mr. Briggs. Went over the various introductions to be made

and the order of the program.

-Slide show—Maridel Fryer and Alan Pitkin have that planned and are preparing it.

*Tickets for the banquet are available from LHS bookkeeper.
