Board policy FDB (LOCAL) outlines the criteria that are used to review student transfer applications.  Applications for pupil transfers can be obtained from any campus or from the Office of Student Services. Board policy allows for student transfers to be revoked.

The student transfer application is available on line and can be printed from your computer. Please complete the application and take it to the principal of the campus where your child is currently enrolled. Complete one student transfer application for each student. The student transfer application must be submitted to the Office of Student Services by the parent or may be forwarded by the school principal to the address that is located on the form.  Parents who request student transfers for childcare reasons also must complete and submit the "Verification of Child Care" along with the student transfer application.

Student Transfers from Other Districts
Students whose parents reside in a district other than Midland Independent School District may request a student transfer to attend Midland ISD by completing a separate "out of district" transfer application.  The "out of district" application may be obtained by visiting the Office of Student Services.  The application process requires that parents provide a copy of the student's discipline report, attendance report, and grade report. Note that Midland ISD may choose not to accept students from other districts.  Also, Midland ISD may charge tuition for students who reside outside Midland ISD.  Midland ISD will not provide transportation.

Parents who request student transfers for childcare reasons must complete the "Verification of Child Care" and submit the completed form with the application for student transfer.

If the student currently is participating in athletics or plans to participate in athletics at the new school, a signature from the Athletic Coordinator at the campus the student is currently enrolled is required.  The student and parent bear responsibility for complying with UIL rules.
