All about me: I am so thrilled to be back home at Pease full time this year. I am looking forward to walking along side your children as they grow. I am a native Midlander who loves the West Texas sunsets. I am a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, attended Midland College and received my undergraduate at Southwest Texas State University. I taught in the classroom for 17 years before I received my Master"s degree in School Counseling from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. So I guess you could say that kids have been my life! Program Description: As the counselor here at Pease I will be working with all students Kindergarten through 6th grade through my monthly guidance lessons. These lessons focus on helping the child be the best that he/she can be by learning about positive character traits, resisting peer pressure, anger management strategies, decision manking skills and much more. I will also be seeing children within small groups or individually as needed throughout the year. Please feel free to contact me if your child is going through a tough time, has something to celebrate, or just needs a listening ear. |
