
MIDLAND ISD UPCOMING STUDENT REGISTRATION

The Board, administration and staff members of Midland ISD look forward to welcoming new and returning students for the 2012-2013 school year. Families new to the district may register at elementary campuses (excluding Carver Center, Bowie Fine Arts Academy, Pease Communication & Technology Academy and Washington Math & Science Institute) beginning Monday, August 6, and at secondary campuses (junior high schools,freshman schools and high schools, excluding Early College High School at Midland College; *Coleman High School will accept applications and conduct interviews) beginning Tuesday, August 7. Parents should bring their child’s 1) birth certificate, 2) current shot record, 3) Social Security card, and 4) proof of residence to their respective campuses in order to enroll.
Parents should contact their child’s campus in order to set up appointments. If parents are unsure which campus their child will attend, they may call the MISD Office of Student Services at 689-1081.
All Midland High students should make plans to attend Dawg Days on Tuesday, August 14, or Wednesday, August 15, at MHS, 906 W. Illinois Ave. Freshmen students will attend MFHS Boot Campon Thursday, August 16, at MFHS, 100 E. Gist Ave.
All Robert E. Lee High School students should attend Rebel Muster on Tuesday, August 14, or Wednesday, August 15, at LHS, 3500 Neely Ave. Freshmen students will attend LFHS Rebel Musteron Thursday, August 16, at LFHS, 1400 E. Oak Ave.
