School Programs Overview
We have many opportunities for students, parents, staff, and community to get involved in our school.
Top Tiger
One student from each class is chosen by their teacher to receive a character award at the end of every month. Students earning a character award will be recognized during their lunchtimes with parents in attendance. As a reward, those students will have their picture taken to be displayed on the Top Tiger Wall by the fine arts room. They eat lunch on the stage, as well as receive a certificate from the counselor.
Tiger Team
Bonham student council members consist of students in 4th-6th grades who are elected by their grade level peers. Team members must maintain good grades, have exceptional conduct, and willing to participate in community service projects as well as for the school. They are the representatives for their respective grade levels, and models of outstanding citizens.
Academic Celebrations
We will recognize our students for honor roll and attendance during mid-year, and end of year awards assemblies.
Donuts with Dad and Muffins with Mom
Bonham encourages parent involvement for the success of our students. Donuts with Dad and Muffins with Mom will be announced at a later date.
Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week is scheduled for October. Students will bring home a schedule of the events for each day.
Math and Science Night
Students and parents are given the opportunity to participate in a funfilled night of math activities. Prizes of decks of cards and groceries can be won by estimating the correct amount or weight of items. Our Math and Science Night is scheduled for November at 6:45 p.m.
