The mission of the Midland Senior High Library is to provide students and staff intellectual and physical access to ideas and empower them to become successful effective users of information and to foster a love of reading and literature.
 
The goals of the Midland Senior High Library are:
     to promote the enjoyment of literature and encourage 
          reading for pleasure
     to support and enrich curriculum
     to provide access to quality information in all formats
     to teach and reinforce strategies necessary to locate
          and evaluate information that will enable patrons 
          to be come lifelong learners
     to promote collaboration within the learning
         community.
