The literature textbook can be accessed by going to my.hrw.com  (no www in front) and using a student ID as the username and password.  I also have readers in class that students can take home that have the essential stories and questions in them. 

Hello parents and students! Welcome to my web page. I teach 8th grade English and Journalism. This is my 17th year teaching English, and over the years I have taught from 6th through 11th grades in many parts of the United States. Our focus this year will be on READING.  All PreAP/GT students must read four books every six weeks (may vary depending on other demands on our time).  One book will be between 50 and 250 pages.  251 pages, for example, would count as two books.  Students must turn in a letter for each book that they read to get credit for it.
